Sign-in, account and API keys
Kaivo CLI uses your Kaivo account. kaivo login opens the browser to sign you in, kaivo whoami shows the account's e-mail address, kaivo logout deletes the session saved on this computer.
Your session is kept in the .kaivo folder of your home folder, and renews itself. If it expires, Kaivo tells you: just run kaivo login again.
No API key is needed. If you already have a key with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or Groq and prefer to use it, set the matching environment variable (for example OPENAI_API_KEY): Kaivo will use it, and /model lets you choose.
/usage opens a window with your account, your usage limits (5 hours and week), the conversation's context and your activity. To manage your account (name, sign-out, subscription), go to the Account page of the website.
